Questions

Is misomoon a product analytics tool like Mixpanel?

No. misomoon is web analytics: visits, sources, goals, funnels and revenue. It doesn’t track signed-in users across devices, run experiments or record sessions.

Can I use both?

Yes. A common setup is misomoon on the marketing site, with no cookies, and Mixpanel inside the signed-in product.

Why is misomoon’s tracker so much smaller?

It sends visits and the events you turn on, and nothing else. The core is 1.0 KB gzipped and the Light preset 1.9 KB.
